Srinagar, January 05: Kashmiri footballer, Mehman Mushtaq Rather, has been selected to play in the upcoming South Zone and All India Inter-University Football Championship.
Mehman hails from Pampore and is currently studying at Jawahar Lal Nehru Techinical University, Hyderabad.
He appeared in the trials last month, where he impressed the selectors with his skills, hence making it to the JNTUH Hyderabad team.
The trials saw students form 150 different colleges trying their luck. Mehman plays at centre back position.
