Sopore, November 21: Ishtiyaq Robby’s all-round brilliance Sunday helped Rising Star Bandipora win the Sumer Slam T20 Cup at Adipora.
Batting first, RS Sopore made a paltry score of 115 runs as Rising Star bowlers struck the correct line and lengths more often than not. Ishtiyaq and Faizan picked three wickets each.
In reply, Rising Star weren’t troubled much by Sopore bowlers and Ishtiyaq looked in sublime form with the bat as well. The right-handed batter fired 51-ball 78 runs to take his team home.
For his all-round performance, Ishtiyaq was named player of the match.
