
Srinagar, April 18: Making it clear that Pakistan cricket team will be having no problem in travelling to India for the upcoming T20 World Cup, BCCI has said that they would be issued visas.
BCCI om Friday, April 17 held its Apex Council meeting in which members were informed that Goverment has given permission to approve Visas of Pakistan players and media .
“The Indian government has given permission to approve visas of Pakistan players and the media for the T20 World Cup, the BCCI informed the apex council. A call on the fans’ visa will be decided by the home ministry later,” meeting was informed .
India is set to host T20 World Cup in October . The event was earlier scheduled to be held last year but due to COVID19 pandemic was rescheduled .
Both International Cricket Council (ICC) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have been asking for assurances from BCCI regarding issuance of Visas to travelling Pakistan side .
Thad issue now formally has been sorted out and Babar Azam lead Pakistan cricket team will be having no problem in travelling to India for mega T20 carnival .
