Srinagar: A well known Kashmiri long distance cyclist, Mirza Saaib Beg bagged first place in the 250-kilometre THAAR 2016 on Saturday.
Mirza completed the 250-Kms category in 8 hours and 5 minutes. Thaar The Aravali Adrenaline Rush – 2016 Cycling festival had kicked off on Friday.
THAAR, The Aravali Adrenaline Rush is a three day cycling festival, organized on the occasion of 289th foundation day of the Jaipur the “Pink city”, established by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II on Nov. 18, 1727. Jaipur, the capital city is the gateway to the unique state of Rajasthan.
Mirza has in past undertaken various long distance cycling expeditions and is based in Mumbai currently.
