Srinagar, March 20: Young Wushu sports star Sadia Tariq called on Director General of Police J&K, Dilbag Singh in Srinagar on the sidelines of inauguration of Zonal Level Cricket Tournament. She has won a gold medal in the recently held Junior National Wushu Championship in Haryana.

The DGP while praising her abilities and achievements said that such children are born to make their nation proud and added that he is very happy to know that Sadia doing exceptionally well in the recently held Junior National Wushu championship where she bagged a gold medal which is a pride moment for Jammu and Kashmir.

The DGP advised Sadia Tariq to continue her studies along with the practice in her game to keep shining. He said that J&K Police will provide all possible assistance and support. He said that he is glad to see that girls are making their mark in sports competitions. He congratulated her for being selected for Asian Wushu Championship.

Sadia thanked DGP J&K and IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar for their support and said that there is a lot of talent among the girls. She said that many girls want to pursue their career in martial arts and need their parental support to shine.
