2-Day Srinagar Judo championship concludes

Srinagar, March 20: The 2-day District Srinagar Judo Championship organized by Jammu and Kashmir Judo Association, held under the auspices of J&K Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association concluded at Indoor Sports Hall, Polo Ground Srinagar on Thursday, March 18.
More than 100 Judo players both boys and girls from all over the district participated in the Championship.

Senior Judo player Dr. Khursheed Ahmad Bhat, Scientist at plant pathology was the Chief guest on the concluding ceremony, while another senior judoka Imran Ahanger, Assistant Floriculture Officer was the Guest of honour who distributed medals and certificates among position holders.

Among others present were Mohd Iqbal, Manager Indoor Sports Hall Pologround, Shafkat Shafi, Manager Ganderbal Stadium/ Chairman Technical Committee J&K Judo Association (K), Abdul Hamid Khan, Vice President J&K Judo Association, Gowhar Khan, Joint Secretary J&K Judo Association, Umar Hamza (NIS judo coach), Rahil Shafi (NIS judo coach), Syed Manzoor (Physical Director, GD Goenka Public school). The mementos were presented to all the guests and officials.
