Srinagar, March 02: The U-19 open trials to select the squad for Vinoo Mankad Trophy (One-days) will start from 7th March at GGM Science College Ground in Jammu, JKCA notified on Monday.
Those who fall in this age-group have been directed to report at the venue alongside their original birth proofs.
Owing to Covid-19, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided to hold a curtailed 2020-21 domestic season, cutting away many major age-group events. However, with upcoming U-19 World Cup in mind, the cricket body gave the nod for conducting of this U-19 One-day tournament.
Pertinently, as the tournament is expected to start from the last week of March, JKCA has announced to organise a trial camp to keep the squad ready.
The trials will start from 7th March and could continue till March 20th.
