Jammu, December 24: Usman Pandit and spinner Tawqeer steered Fazil Rashid XI to win against Waseem Raza XI in one of the trial matches on Thursday at M.A Cricket Stadium.
Usman made unbeaten 52 runs off 40 balls while Tawqeer scalped a 3-wicket-haul.
Batting first, Fazil XI made 128 runs on the slow wicket of M.A Stadium, thanks to some steady batting by Usman. Apart from him Suhail and Fazil also scored cameos.
Waseem Raza XI, while chasing, were bundled out on paltry 98 runs. Tweaker, Tawqeer, with 3 wickets, was the wrecker-in-chief for Fazil’s men while Auqib Nabi also scalped a brace.
