Srinagar, October 28: International cyclist of Kashmir, Mohammad Akber Khan shines again on Wednesday in Ultimate Cycling Challenge -Leh, by finishing fifth in second stage.
Akber who had bagged third place on Tuesday in Stage-1 of the event, on Wednesday bagged fifth place in Stage -2. There are two more stages to be held in the event. Overall Akber is placed fourth on the classification.
For finishing third on Tuesday, Akber bagged Rs 15 thousand cash prize and on Wednesday bagged Rs 7 thousand cash prize for finishing fifth.
While Stage -1 included distance of 70-kilometres , the second stage started from main market Leh and finished at Lakeer with total distance of 50 kms.
In the event top National level riders from all over India are participating.
