Srinagar: A blistering knock of 68 runs by skipper Parvez Rasool after the departure of Ian Dev and Shubham Khajuria gave JK hope of pushing for win on the last day of the Ranji trophy match against Himchal Pradesh at Ranchi on Monday.
After solid knocks by Khajuria who scored 86 and Ian Dev 99 who ensured that team gets past first inning lead deficit it was Parvez who pushed the scoring rate. He scored blistering 68 runs from 72 that included three sixes and six boundaries. It was inning that gave JK chances of pushing for chance of a win on last day of the day. JK currently are ahead with 129 runs after taking out first inning lead deficit.
At stumps Jk were on 337 with Bisht batting on 33 while as Manhas on 18. Team would be hoping to accelerate scoring on last day before declaring at lunch.
Jk were bundled out for 162 in first inning while as Himchal Pradesh scored 370 in return.
