When it comes to best One Day International (ODI) win record Australia by far is ahead of other teams while as India holds the World Record of most defeats with 424 ODI defeats.
Srilankan sports journalist Daniel Alexander posted this stat trivia onnhis official handle.
He tweeted, ” Australia played 94 world cup ODIs & won 69 at a win rate of 74.73%, played 7 finals and won 5 (lost 1975 v WI & 1996 v SL). overall Australia played 949 ODIs winning 575 at win rate 63.33%, most wins in ODIs. India holds the world record for most defeats in ODIs (424)”.
For jibe at India for having most defeats in ODI cricket he got trolled by Indian Twitter users.
For the record Australia with 575 wins is number one on most wins list while as India with 513 stand at second. Pakistan with 486 wins stand at third place.
In defeats India is at number one position with 424 followed by Sri Lanka who has 421 and Pakistan who has 413.
