Ranji Trophy:Day 3 play called off due to low visibility

Like second day of play that was lost to bad weather completely, the third days play in ongoing Ranji Trophy match between hosts J&K and Chhattisgarh was also lost to the bad weather on Wednesday at Jammu.

After full days rain on Tuesday, Jammu city witnessed cloudy weather on Wednesday. The JKCA ground staff was on job to dry the outfield that was bad shape due to heavy rains that lashed the city but then the cloudy weather made things worse.

“We were hoping to see ground getting ready for the play but then their were dark clouds hovering over the city. The visibility was low and days play had to be called off, ” Said a official.

“We are hoping that tomorrow their would be no rain and match would start early in the morning. Even after that match is heading for a draw'” Official added.

Currently Chhattisgarh after first days play in their first inning are on 270/4 .
