Srinagar: In a major surprise J&K High Court appointed administrator of J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) retired justice CK Prasad is in Jammu and on Thursday witnessed the ongoing Ranji trophy match between J&K and Assam.
Prasad arrived in Jammu on Thursday and watched match for sometime before been seen involved in interaction with JKCA officials.
JKCA CEO Ashique Bukhari was in Kashmir had to rush back to Jammu as Prasad arrived in Jammu city.
It is learnt that Administrator is in Jammu to take stock of the activities being taken up by JKCA and what it is doing to bring back JKCA on track.
Meanwhile on the second day of the match, J&K ended day on 212 for the loss of two wickets. Shubham Khajuria with 87 run knock was in the middle for J&K alongwith debutant Henan Malik who was on 13. He was included in the team on the basis of brilliant display in Under-23 CK Nayudu tournament.
For J&K Khajuria and Suryansh Raina formed 135 run stand. Raina got out on 79 run knock and he was only wicket to fall in J&K inning.
The first two days of the play have been badly affected by bad light. The first day saw only 18 overs to be played and the second day was also affected by the bad light.
