Waqar Younis questions India’s sportsmanship after England defeat

Srinagar, July 1: Former Pakistan skipper, Waqar Younis expressed disappointment with Team India’s performance against England on Sunday in the Cricket World Cup 2019.

The former pacer indirectly pointing to Indian cricket team said that they failed to prove their sportsmanship,

“It’s not who you are.. What you do in life defines who you are.. Me not bothered if Pakistan gets to the semis or not but one thing is for sure.. Sportsmanship of few Champions got tested and they failed badly #INDvsEND #CWC2019” He tweeted after the match.

India’s win Birmingham would have added to Pakistan’s chances of making it to the semifinals of the tournament. So, people from other part of border were supporting Kohli’s men for this match.

However, they ended up losing the match by 31 runs. Later, several cricketers and fans questioned the India’s intent to win the match.
