Setting aside doubts , Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed has said that Mohammad Amir is fit and available for Pakistan’s match against West Indies at Trent Bridge on Friday.

Earlier, it was reported that Mohammad Amir was unfit and would not be available for the match against West Indies.

Sarfraz said the team is ready for their first match of the tournament. “I will bat at number 5,” the skipper told reporters, “the batting order could be changed according to the situation though.”

We will start our World Cup campaign from scratch, don’t want to keep the results of last 10 matches in our matches, said Sarfraz Ahmed.

The skipper said that It was an honor to meet with Queen Elizabeth and to represent Pakistan, Prince Harry appreciated all the captains.

“I don’t think that strike rate matters much because if England have posted big scores, we have also posted good scores in a positive manner. Both the teams have different playing style,” he added.

The Pakistan captain said that the team with over 300 runs score in the first innings will have an edge over the other team because of the extra pressure of the World Cup.

“We have to take wickets continuously to contain opposition. It’s good to be unpredictable, on their day Pakistani team is very dangerous,” he said.
