The former Australia skipper Steve Smith is back with bang in the Australian cricket team after serving year ban for Ball tampering.
Smith has scored three half centuries and one century for Australia since having colours back on his chest.
And he says that he is hungrier than what he was before and Australia can benefit from that.
In a video posted by Cricket.com.au , he said, “ I hope so, not too many players have a year out of the game, when they are at top of their game , midway through their career”.
“Having performed at a high level for 4-5 years to have that year away has given me chance to freshen up and come back hungrier than ever and work on a few different things and get fitter,” he said.
“I feel in a good place and hopefully I can have a big impact for Australia in this World Cup,” he added.
