DC Srinagar ‘Gatecrashes’ cricket match

Cricket is most loved and followed sport in India and Kashmir valley is not so different from that as large number of youth follow sport in Kashmir as well.

Infact from last seven to eight years , Cricket has overtaken football as most followed sport in Kashmir. Be it a youngster or old one all follow and play cricket.

Even the high ranking Civil servants/ Bureaucrats have been seen over the years follow and play the game. Last year former IGP Traffic Basant Rath was seen gatecrashing the cricket matches and ask for few shots out of a old habit.

In latest such case, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Shahid Choudhary has done the same and in his own words gate crashed cricket match in Srinagar locality.

Taking to his twitter handle, he Tweeted, “Gatecrashed mohalla cricket league in Noorbagh. Wonderful break on a hectic schooling day. #Srinagar”.
