In the ongoing 40-over event, Jammu and Kashmir Premier League which is being organised by JKCA, Showkat Memorial Bijbehara cruised Sher-I-Kashmir cricket club Anantnag by 7 runs. 
Batting first, Showkat Memorial posted a below par score of 181 on board. Largely due to cameos Lateef Shah(44) and Bashir Ahmad(31). While as Majid Ashraf and Ishtiyaq scalped two wickets each for SKCC side. In reply, Sher-i-Kashmir cricket club fell short of 7 runs as they were bundled out on 174. Ishtiyaq Farooq who scored 74 was the lone warrior for SKCC. The duo of Imtiaz Ahmad and Bilal who shared 4 wickets each ran through the SKCC batting order, rewarding Showkat Memorial 7 run victory. Imtiyaz Ahmad for his 4 wicket haul was named as man of the match.
