Srinagar, June 1: Tyndale Biscoe school opened its campaign in the ongoing Kashmir Harvard Under-16 Inter-School tournament with win against Lawrence Vidhya Bhawan Rajbagh with win at TRC ground on Friday.Biscoe MOM

In the match Biscoe defeated Lawrence by 62 runs. Batting first , Biscoe got all out for 134 runs in 18 overs. Hasnain with 28 was highest scorer for them while as Fahad scored 23. For Lawrence Vidhya Bhawan School, Hussain took three wickets while as Inayat and Huban took two each. Ubaid and Sadat took one wicket each.

In reply Lawrence Vidhya Bhawan inning folded out for 73 runs in 13 overs. Musaib with 15 was only notable scorer for them. S Bhat, Qazi Nabeel and Haafid Ashraf took two wickets each for Biscoe while as Hasnain, Aatif, Hayaan took one each. Hasnain was adjudged as man of the match for his all-round performance.

Organizers have decided to cancel the match scheduled to be played on Saturday due to strike call. The match between Burn Hall and State Cricket Academy would be now played on Monday and on the same day second match would be played between New Convent School and Spring Buds Budgam.

The tournament is organized by State Cricket Academy in collaboration with Amblin. It is sponsored by Kashmir Harvard, J&K Bank and Unibec Biscuits.
