38th National Games: J&K win 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 4 Bronze medals in Wushu

Srinagar: Surya Bhanu Partap and Mohd Kamraan bagged gold medals for J&K in the ongoing 38th National Games-2025 Uttarkhandh in Wushu discipline on Saturday.
As per Association statement, J&K Wushu remained 2nd in the Men’s Sanda event after Services by bagging 2 Gold, Silver and 04 Bronze medals in the 38th National Games at Uttrakhand.

Surya Bhanu Partap singh and Mohd Kamraan secured Gold medals whereas Ayeera Chisti secured Silver medal.

Earlier Arjun sharma , Rohan , Ishant singh and Saleem Kumar confirmed bronze medals in the Games.

Surya Bhanu outclassed Manipur in the finals in 60kg, Mohd Kamraan defeated Services sports control board in plus 90kg , Ayeera Chisti lost final bouts with MP.

Secretary, Sports council Nuzhat Gul congratulated the medalist’s especially Gold medalist’s.
President Vijay Saraf, Ranjeet Kalra (VP), Bhavneet (General Secretary) congratulated the medalist’s for making whole UT J&K proud.
Kuldeep Handoo (Dronacharya Awardee) thanked J&K Sports Council for the support ,resultant 2nd place in the men’s Sanda event after services in 38th National Games. He assured that J&K wushu will achieve the new heights in the forthcoming international and national events particularly 20th Asian Games 2026.
