2nd Kashmir MTB Road Cycling championship held in Old City


Srinagar: The second edition of the Kashmir Road MTB Cycling championship presented by NITians career institute Hawal was held on Sunday morning from Jamia Masjid Nowhatta to Nigeen via Lal Bazaar.

The event that witnessed participation of more than 100 registered cyclists in three categories was flagged of by Director Handicrafts and Handloom Mahmood Ahmad Shah from Jamia Masjid gate.

The competitions were held in Senior , Junior and Veteran categories in male section.

Akber Khan emerged winner in senior category while as Arafat in junior category. In veteran category, Faheem finished first.

Director Tourism Kashmir Dr GN Itoo was chief guest at the concluding ceremony and distributed prizes amoung the winners.
