Srinagar, Aug 23 : Police have arrested two persons in connection with the incident that happened at Madankha ground Nowgam Srinagar on Friday.
“Police has taken cognizance of an incident resulting in grievous injuries to one individual upon being beaten by cricket bat in Madankha, Nowgam. FIR No. 74/2024 u/s 191(2), 191(3), 126(2), 131, 109 BNS stands registered in PS Nowgam.Investigation into the case has been initiated,” Srinagar Police statement said.
As per reports two persons have been held so far and efforts are on to catch hold of the remaining persons involved.
