Srinagar, Sept 24: Baba Reshi Cricket Club booked place in the final of the Zaingeer Super League after defeating Jimmy Strikers by five wickets in the semi-final played on Friday, September 24.
Batting first Jimmy Strikers scored 122 runs. Muneer Bhat with 27 runs was highest scorer for them while as Jahangir Lone scored 12. For BCC, Jameel and Zahoor took three wickets each.
In reply BCC chased the total in 17 overs for the loss of five wickets, For BCC Raashid scored brilliant 40 runs while as Tanvir and Hamid scored 23 and 21 runs respectively.
Raashid was declared man of the match for his brilliant performance with the bat. Baba Reshi CC qualified for the final.
