Srinagar, 12 August 2021: Secretary Sports Council Nuzhat Gull inaugurated Women’s Cricket Tournament today at TRC Ground Srinagar.
The participants of the tournament are players of Sports Council Cricket Academy who have been training under cricketer turned coach Abid Nabi .
The tournament is aimed at match simulation of players besides checking the progress of their skill level.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Sports Council assured players of all her cooperation and assured them their demand of providing cricket gears and equipment equipments shall be addressed soon.
She gave on spot directions to Abid Nabi to submit list of demands and follow up.
Secretary was accompanied by Masood Khan, Manager Indoor Sports Complex, Mohammad Iqbal Incharge Indoor Sports Complex Pologround, Hilal Ahmad Incharge TRC Football and Cricket Ground besides other officials from J&K Sports Council.
