Srinagar , January 15: The three day Women’s basketball league started at Gindun Sports Center Rajbagh on Friday.
The league is being played under strict covid guidelines and in it around 8 teams of girls are participating in the league.
“Our Main aim is to boost in the confidence of women players ” said Adeena wani, Organiser
“By organising a league for only women players we want to provide a platform for them to show In the talent” she added
Mehwish Shah one of the participant said that “we are so exited for the league as after such stressful year we finally found a way out to show our game”
“This game is our passion and we get to perform only few time and such leagues are a source of encouragement to us” she added
The league will continue till 17 January .
The league is being organised by Useeba Bashir and Adeena wani.
