Srinagar: In ramarkable act, West Indies youngster Kevin Sinclair celebrated his debut Test wicket vs Australia in a brilliant way by cartwheels and somersaults that left everyone in awe of his gymnastics talent.
Kevin Sinclair after taking his first Test wicket went into a celebratory mode by doing cartwheel somersault followed by backflip. Usman Khawaja became the debut Test victim of Kevin.
With Australia seven down and Usman Khawaja still at the crease with Pat Cummins, Sinclair was brought back on.
Bowling around the wicket to the left-handed Khawaja, he floated the ball up and found some grip off the pitch, taking Khawaja’s outside edge. Alick Athanaze took a comfortable catch at first slip to give Sinclair his first Test wicket.
Before embracing his teammates, Sinclair launched into an impressive set of gymnastics. He first executed a perfect somersault, before leaping into a backflip without pausing. He finished the sequence with a fist-pump, seemingly letting out pent up frustration.
