We only had 30 minutes to catch our next flight: Shaheen Afridi on why players loaded luggage themselves

Srinagar: Pakistan premier pacer Shaheen Afridi has revealed why Pakistan players were seen loading their luggage themselves in Sydney, Australia Airport.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, while talking to media on Sunday, addressed a viral video showing members of the Pakistan cricket team loading their own luggage at Sydney airport.

“We only had 30 minutes to catch our next flight and we helped because there were just two people. We wanted to wrap it up fast and to save time,” revealed Afridi.

Afridi also opened up about his team’s aspirations for the upcoming three-match Test series against Australia, starting from December 14 in Perth.

“This is an important series for Pakistan as we are leading the World Test Championship’s point table at the moment,” he said.

“We have played against the recently announced Australia’s 14-member squad, and we are all up for this challenge,” he added.
