Budgam, December 28: Masood Sports beat Kakapora Legends in a thrilling contest by 21 runs on Tuesday in the third quarter-final of Wathoora Big Bash, here.

Winning the toss and batting first Masood Sports posted a huge total of 190 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Shabir Madbali played a blistering knock of 76 runs in 26 balls and Muzamil also made 56 runs.

In reply, Kakapora Legends, with the help of Ishfaq’s fantastic 77 runs off 43 balls, fought hard but fell short of the target by 21 runs (169 in 20 overs). Jaleel and Bilal Molvi took 2 wickets each for Masood Sports.

Lastly, Ishfaq walked away with the maximum sixes award while as Shabir Madbali was awarded as player of the match for his brilliant batting.
