Srinagar: Former Pakistan captain Imran Khan has hailed Haris Rauf as exceptional bowler.
A video of Imran Khan conversating with locals in an area of Pakistan has gone viral on Twitter.
A helicopter in which Khan was travelling had to make emergency landing and he later was seen engaging in a chit chat with locals of Adiala village.
Khan inquired about their favorite cricketers and also asked them for their opinions about some of his personal favorites.
In the video Imran is heard saying that he has not seen many new kids playing but asked about Shaheen Afridi and later named Haris Rauf as an excellent bowler.
“Haris Rauf is an excellent bowler,” the Imran Khan can be heard saying.
When he asked about wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan, somebody from the crowd complained about his slow batting approach.
Haris Rauf has been exceptional in recent times for Pakistan in the absence of Shaheen Afridi, who is recovering from a knee injury.
Haris has 27 and 62 wickets in ODIs and T20Is, respectively.
