Srinagar: Pakistan skipper Babar Azam on Sunday was left shocked by a delivery from English pacer Ollie Robinson and was welcomed by fans towards dugout by Zimbabar Chants in Multan during second Test between Pakistan and England.
Pakistan are chasing a 355-run target to level the three-match series against England in the second Test in Multan.
Pakistan had an impressive start to the run-chase, with Abdullah Shafique and Mohammad Rizwan adding 66 runs for the first wicket. However, Rizwan was done in with an incredible delivery from James Anderson, and captain Babar Azam, too, departed in quick succession.
Ollie Robinson has now dismissed Babar twice in the match. It was a fatal leave from Babar, who seemed to have failed to take into account the movement off the surface; the ball took a sharp inward movement, leaving Babar shocked as it hit the stumps.
Upon going back into dressing room, a video has surfaced on Twitter in which fans in Multan can be heard taunting Babar with chants of Zimbabar.
The video has gone viral and many are criticising the fans for the disrespect shown towards Pakistan star batter.
