Srinagar: Former Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez bowled one of th best ever bowling spell during ZimAfro T10 league 2023 on Friday for Joburg Buffaloes against Bulawayo Braves.
Mohammad Hafeez returned with figures of two overs, four runs and six wickets. He was instrumental in helping his side win the match. Hafeez bowled 11 dot balls out of 12 Ball’s he bowled and conceded only two runs.
Earlier batting first, Buffaloes managed to put up a competitive total of 105 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the first innings. However, it was Hafeez’s bowling prowess that turned the game on its head.
When the opposition side, the Bulawayo Braves, came out to bat, they seemed to be getting off to a solid start, reaching 32 runs for the loss of one wicket within the first three overs. But, it was at this moment that the all-rounder decided to take matters into his own hands.
In a sensational display of bowling, the all-rounder took three wickets in a single over, dismissing key batters Sikandar Raza (1), Thisara Perera (0), and Timycen Maruma (0).
The 42-year-old continued his magic as he bowled with tremendous accuracy and skill, securing three more wickets, which included the dismissals of Ryan Burl (16), Tymal Mills (0), and Tanunurwa Makoni (0).
