Jammu and Kashmir’s Umran Malik has been included in India A playing XI against New Zealand A in the second multi-day match of New Zealand A’s tour of India at KSCA Stadium, Karnataka.
Malik wasn’t a part of the XI in the first match, which was drawn. However, the speedster has found a place in the side in the second game.
He recently debuted for India in T20Is but was soon dropped, probably to give him more time to settle down. Notably, Umran had done quite well in IPL 2022.
His paces makes him stand apart from the rest and many believe he could end up becoming a weapon for India in the future.
Meanwhile, India A is batting first and the score was 158/4 at the time this report was filed.
