U23 One-Days: Delhi outplays J&K by 64 runs; 2nd defeat in a row for J&K

Delhi on Monday outplayed J&K in all three departments as J&K suffered its second consecutive defeat in the ongoing U-23 One-Day tourney.

Earlier, batting first, Delhi posted a par score of 255 runs on board. Arpit Bana scored a fine century (138 off 137) for them while Basit Bashir and Vanshaj Sharma picked three wickets each for J&K.

In reply, Qazi Junaid (81 off 88) and Shivansh Sharma (46 off 82) were the only two batters to show some fight as the whole team bundled out on 191 runs, handing Delhi an easy win of 64 runs.

In the first match, J&K suffered a huge loss of 106 runs. Notably, J&K had qualified for knockouts of this tournament last year. However, with no trials held this year and players handpicked for this and other tournaments, J&K has been performing badly across the age-groups.
