U23 CK Nayudu Trophy: Mujtaba Yousuf’s 5-wkt haul brings J&K back into game

Srinagar: Talented left arm pacer Mujtaba Yousuf bagged five wicket haul against Baroda on Tuesday to help J&K get back into the game in the ongoing CK Nayudu Trophy match Jammu University Ground, Jammu.

Baroda scored 244 runs in their first innings.Nitya J Pandya top scored with 78 runs while Dhruv contributed 60 runs.

For J&K, Vanshaj Sharma took 5 wickets while another left-arm spinner Vishal Kumar claimed 3 wickets and Basit Bashir took 2 wickets.

In reply, J&K bundled out for paltry 125 runs, thus conceding a first innings lead of 119 runs to Baroda. Yawer Hassan top scored with magnificent 57 runs.

Ansh Patel took 3 wickets for Baroda, while Lakshit, Ashutosh Das and Utsavraj Chudasma bagged 2 wickets each.

Baroda were 130/6 in their second innings at stumps on day-3 today. Baroda has a lead of 249 runs. Dhruv Patel (10) and Ansh Patel (01) were at the crease. Bhavishya Bhavesh Patel top scored with 80 runs.

Mujtaba Yousuf was brilliant for J&K, claiming 5 wickets while Vanshaj Sharma claimed one wicket.
