U-23 Cricket Tourney: JK juniors bundle out Assam for 255, enforce follow-on

 

Srinagar: JK Under-23 side bundled out Assam for the first inning total of 255 runs and then enforced follow-on on the last day of the four day Col CK Naydu tournament at Assam on Thursday.

Assam were all out for 255 runs in first inning in response to JK’s first inning total of 492. JK earned first inning lead of 237. For JK, A Chowdary, Abid  Mushtaq took three wickets each while as Salatia took two. A Banday and Akeel Ashraf took one each.cricket-representational-pic

Following-on, Assam were on 103 for the loss of three wickets in second inning after 52 overs. Abid mushtaq, Akeel Ashraf and Wadhwan took one each for JK.

While batting Jk had amassed huge total of 492 runs thanks some brilliant display of batting by  Zaid Mohammad Bhat (118) Shubham Pundir (119) and Paras Sharma (68).
