Srinagar: J&K Under-19 womens team suffered ots third defeat in the Womens Under 19 One Day Trophy as they were beaten by Andhra Pradesh at Salt Lake on Monday.
In three match, Andhra Pradesh outplayed J&K girls by right wickets.
Batting first, J&K scored, 153 runs for the loss of all wickets in 44.5 overs. In reply Andhra Pradesh achieved target in 28.2 overs for the loss of two wickets.Shambhavi Rajput top scored for J&K with 44 while as Rudrakshi Chib scored 34 and Afreen 22. For Andhra , Shabnam took five wicket haul.
For Andhra Pradesh, Vinny Suzan top scored with 74 not out while as Md Jmehak scored 43 not out. For J&K, Mariya and Anvi took one wicket each.
It was third defeat out of five matches played by J&K in the group and thus finished third in the table. They have been knocked out of tournament.
