This Pakistan pacer wants to break Umran Malik’s record, clock 160 kph

Srinagar: Ever since the emergence of pace sensation Umran Malik , there have been talks of who will bowl faster than him and now a Pakistan youngster who is making waves in ongoing PSL 2023 has said that he will surpass Umran Malik and try to reach 160 kph mark.

Multan Sultans promising fast-bowler who has already bowled at a speed of 155kph, aims to break Malik’s record of 157 kph and reach a speed of 160kph.

“Alhamdulillah, I am satisfied with my performance so far,” said the 20-year-old pacer. “I have bowled at a speed of 155kph. Now, I want to break the record of Umran Malik. He bowled at 157kph. I will try to break his record and bowl at 160kmph,” he added.

Ihsanullah is currently the leading wicket-taker with 12 wickets in five matches of PSL 8. He hopes to maintain his consistency and finish the tournament as the highest wicket-taker.

“So far, it has been a good tournament for me. I will try to maintain consistency and finish the tournament as the highest wicket-taker,” he mentioned.

Ihsanullah’s dream is to play for the Pakistan team and take the wicket of Virat Kohli. He comes from Swat and has represented Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in seven first-class games, 11 list A, and 13 T20 games.

The young fast bowler aims to get into the national side. “Obviously, from here, I want to be in the national team. If I get a chance to play for Pakistan, I wish to take the wicket of Virat Kohli. It is my dream,” he concluded.

“My favorite wickets were of Jason Roy and Babar Azam,” said Ihsanullah, who bagged big wickets so far.
