JK Thanga-Ta that bagged medals in the 3rd International Thang-Ta championship got warm welcome upon their return at Srinagar Airport on Friday.
In the event JK based players bagged three medals for the Country at Chungju, Republic of Korea.
10 countries participated in the event that included Singapore , Taiwan, Philppines , Uzbekistan, Veitnam, India , Indonesia , Malaysia , Russia and host Korea.
In the overall championship . Uzbekistan were the overall champions, Philpinnes were the runners up and India were second runner-up by winning of 3 Gold , 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal out of 8 Medals J&K got 3 Medals. Sairah Zahoor won gold , Rabia Zahoor won silver and Tamajud Saif won bronze.
