Jammu, December 26: Manzoor Pandav, Abdul Samad and Aqib Mir scored in thirties while Ankush Bandral and Auqib Nabi bowled brilliantly in the Shubham Khajuria XI vs Ram Dayal XI trial match a4 GGM Science College Ground, here on Saturday.
Pandav made 25-ball 35 runs, however, he was asked to continue to bat after getting dismissed once and Auqib Nabi took two wickets for Khajuria XI while Samad smashed 31 off 15, Aqib Mir 33 in 24 balls and Ankush scalped a brace for Dayal XI.
Meanwhile, batting first, Ram Dayal XI made 145 runs, in which Samad hit 15-ball 31 runs and Aqib Mir made 33 runs in 24 balls.
For Khajuria’s team, Mujtaba Yousuf and Auqib Nabi (4-0-20-2) scalped 2 wickets each.
In reply, Khajuria XI could make only 135 runs with Manzoor Pandav 35 (25) and Jiyaad Magrey 23 (26) finishing as top-scorers.
For Dayal XI, Ankush was the wrecker-in-chief, taking a brace of wickets while leaking only 17 runs in his 4 overs.
