Srinagar, December 6: Former International cricketer Suresh Raina continuing the selection trials in South Kashmir, held second round of selection trials at Tik Bagh Stadium Mattan on Sunday.
The trials were held by Suresh Raina Academy in collaboration with JK Sports Council.
Apart from Suresh Raina others present on the were DDC Anantnag KK Sidha, cricketers Parvez Rasool and Abid Nabi and officers of the J&K Sports Council.
As per Sports Council statement large number of budding cricketers from districts of Anantnag, Kupwara, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Srinagar, Kulgam, participated in the trials and showcased their talent.
“Parvez Rasool supervised trials for prospective spinners while as Abid Nabi supervised those for potential pace bowlers, ” Statement said.
The cricketers were seen trying hard to impress the Raina with their skills in various departments of the game.
