Srinagar, 9 August 2021: RACC Anantnag lifted the Summer T20 Cup title defeating Shining Star Shopian in the final okayed at RC Cricket Stadium, Harmain Shopian on Sunday, August 8 , 2021.
Batting first Shining Star Shopian scored 169 runs in allotted 20 overs .
In reply RACC Anantnag achieved required target for the loss of four wickets .
RACC on match by six wickets and lifted the title.
The final witnessed gathering of spectators with thousands turning up to watch the match.
Though organisers had said COVID19 SOP’s would be followed , but during final all SOP’s were violated with its photographs and videos going viral in social media.
The tournament was held with a tag line of “Let’s Play for a Drug free Community” and “Say No To Suicides”.
