Sri Lanka Major League: Parvez Rasool hits ton, takes 4 wickets; Adil Reshi scores 50

J&K’s star cricketer Parvez Rasool continues his brilliance in the ongoing Major League Tournament in Sri Lanka as the all-rounder scores a ton and picks up four wickets.

Playing for Badureliya Sports Club, Parvez first scaped a four-for in the first innings against Chilaw Marians Cricket Club and then struck a stroke-fiilled hundred.

He took only 104 balls for his century, which included 13 fours. Another J&K cricketer Adil Reshi, playing for the same team, also scored 52 runs. He struck five fours in his 77-ball stay at the crease.

Badureliya Sports Club looks in a strong position as Chilaw trails by 57 runs in second innings with just 8 wickets in hand.

Parvez picked up 7 wickets in the previous match as well.

Notably, after being left out of Vijay Hazare and Ranji Trophy squads by JKCA last year, Parvez decided to go to Sri Lanka to play the Major League instead of appearing in the JKCA trial camp.
