Srinagar, May 30: The newly launched initiative of J&K Sports Council to engage youth in Sports Council , E Learning is being hailed by one and all.

The Initiative of Secretary Sports Council under the patronage of LG J&K, include wide range of E-Learning programs on its various platforms including social media .

The initiative titled E-Sports Initiative, features training programs by expert coaches of Sports Council and also features messages from top International sportspersons apart from Lt Governor of J&K and others .

“It is one of the unique concept and should be extended by including our top International stars in every sport. Sports Council should engage these stars and let them interact with our youth and budding players ,” said a player from Srinagar.

Another player from rural area of Kupwara said that he was happy to see Sports Council launching E-Sports .

“I loved the programs and now the next step should be live Zoom or Google classes . Those classes should be held on daily basis. Apart from coaches , Sports Council should also let our top stars attend those classes and interact with players at ground level,” he said.

Another player while hailing Sports Council said that during COVID pandemic youth need such programs to stay healthy both mentally and physically .

Pertinently Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha formally gave go ahead to the programme and appreciated the role of J&K Sports Council for organising the series of online lectures.

Minister for Youth Affiars, Government of India Kiren Rijiju has been following the programme has appreciated J&K Sports Council for this unique initiative and has been regularly tweeting about it since day one.
