Srinagar: Pakistan young batter Azam Khan has continued his devastating power hitting in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League 2023 and on Friday smacked senior former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir all over the park.
In the match between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Jamaica Tallawahs, Azam Khan once again turned out as star performer for the Guyana. Khan scored 54 from 27 balls in which he hit four sixes.
Azam Khan was particularly in devastating mood against league top wicket taker Mohammad Amir. Khan smashed Amir for three consecutive boundaries of 6,4,6.
Batting first Guyana Amazon scored 182 for 6 in 20 overs. Amir was expensive for Jamaica giving out 28 runs in overs for one wicket.
In reply, Jamaica Tallawahs got all out for 101. Imad Wasim was top scorer for them with 43.
