Sensational Parvez Rasool leads BSC to win vs star studded NCC in Sri Lanka

Srinagar: J&K’s star cricketer Parvez Rasool has continued his sensational form in Sri Lanka’s Major Clubs Limited Over Tournament, leading his side Badureliya Sports Club to a hard fought win against star studded Nondescripts Cricket Club at Maggona on Thursday.

Parvez Rasool starred with both bat and ball to help BSC beat NCC by 15 runs. Earlier NCC won the toss and elected to feild first. BSC got all out for 187 run total in 43.1 overs. Parvez Rasool top scored with 69 run knock from 82 balls which included four boundaries and two sixes. He was bowled by Sri Lanka pacer Matheesha Pathirana.

In reply, the star studded NCC lead by Niroshan Dickwella got all out for 172 run total. Parvez Rasool bowling in power play acumulated for both the openers. He got the wickets of Niroshan Dickwella and Pathum Nissanka to give BSC a great start in defending the low total. NCC lost match by 15 runs. Parvez Rasool took two wickets in 8 overs.

It was brilliant performance by Parvez and BSC against a side that included top International star cricketers of Sri Lanka.
