NEW DELHI: Sania Mirza and her partner Barbora Strycovacame from behind to beat Martina Hingis and Chan Yung-Jan 6-7, 6-1,10-4 and reach the women’s double final of the Miami Open on Saturday.
The third seed pair of Sania/Strycova will be up against unseeded pair of Gabriela Dabrowski and Xu Yifan in the summit clash.
Having finished runners-up at the Sydney International, this will be the second final for Sania and Strycova this year. Sania will also be eyeing her second title of the year after winning in Brisbane with American Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
