Former Indian veteran cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar, Saturday tested positive for Covid-19.
He took to his Twitter handle to confirm it and said he has “mild symptoms”. The rest of his family has, however, tested negative.
The batting legend also ensured his fans that he has ‘quarantined himself at home and is following all the necessary protocols advised by doctors.’
He also remarked that he ‘wanted to thank all the healthcare professionals who are supporting him and many others across the country.’
Tendulkar was recently part of the Road Safety World Series T20 tournament in Raipur where he captained India Legends to take the title by defeating Sri Lanka Legends in the finals.
