Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Rugby team returned back to the valley on Saturday after taking part in event in Mumbai.
The team was in Mumbai for National Junior Rugby 7’s Championship that was held on October 20 and 21. The team stands 5th among 18 teams. The event was organized by Indian Rugby Football Union under the banner of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, GOI and Indian Olympic Association. Around 22 states participated in the event.
JK team participated under the banner of J&K State Rugby Association affiliated with J&K State Sports Council, a Sports Council statement read.
