Record Breaking Saqib: Completes Solo Ride of 505 Kilometre in 21 hours

Srinagar: Pushing his body to extreme limits, a Srinagar rider Saqib Bhat has completed a Solo ride of 506 kilometres in 21 hours.

Cyclist Saqib Bhat of Kathi Darwaza area of Srinagar, on Monday pedalled alone for 21 hours to complete a journey of 506 kilometres that started from City Centre Srinagar and finished at Nehru Park Dal Lake.

The unique ride by Saqib started in Srinagar and in first phase reached Banihal. From Banihal he went to Uri via Srinagar and then returned back to Srinagar from Uri.

Saqib completed total distance of 505.8 kilometres in 21.5 hours with top elevation gain of 3288 metres.

Saqib gladly flaunting his impressive feat.

Saqib may be the first Srinagar Cyclist to achieve such grueling feat, the aim of which was to push persons body to limits and in the process set a personal best record.

Saqib at the finish line was received by Badamwari Athletes group, Mountain Biking Association members and fellow athletes.

His journey was althrough tracked via Strava Mobile App.
