Srinagar: JK could add only 45 runs to their overnight total of 270 as they got all out for 315 runs against Tripura in their first inning of Ranji trophy match at Mumbai on Tuesday.
At lunch in reply, Tripura were going solid at 39 without loss of any wicket. JK started day with four wickets in hand. Though Samiullah Beigh fought hard and scored another brilliant fighting 54, JK could not amass a big total. Overnight another unbeaten batsman Aditya Pratap was first to go during day after scoring brilliant 74 run knock. Jk lost seventh wicket in shape of Pratap at 298 run mark after forming partnership of 107 runs with Samiullah. Eight runs later Samiullah also got out while as next in batsman Ram Dayal, Harmeet Singh and Zahoor Sofi could add only 10 runs to the total. Samiullah scored 54 from 139 balls that included six boundaries and one six while as Pratap scored 74 from 177 balls that included nine boundaries.
In reply Tripura were 39 without loss of any wicket at lunch. U Bose was going strong on unbeaten 30 while as Ghosh was batting on 9.
